Tracks Info:

Autotune: It's a banging techno minimal track, a rocking piece of peaktime techno with catchiest and fat electro bassline! Autotune gives the delicate "redlights" a funk approach with glitchy noises, clipping it back to kick and claps with the riff melody whos introduced at the peak of the track but it is the subtle way all the elements are combined with the killer piano riff that runs throughout that makes this stand out! It ducks and waves, peaks and troughs and takes the folks on a real journey over the course of 7 minutes! This is a perfect cure for winter post summer blues and promises to bring back memories of lost summer parties...

MyMy: Over the past two years, Mymy's has been gradually building its profile with a steady flow of quality tracks and remixes! Their style angles towards deeper sounds, offering a dubby dream melody, spastic rhythms, jazzy impro and deep techno! This remix lies somewhere in between, with a house nagging bassline and rocking beats roll along while the soulful melody, weird FX swirl around to create a trippy soundscape, deep with a cheeky bouncing groove and deeper strings that comes in halfway through and finishes beautifully the techno anthem!

Piemont: The Piemont version is delighful, Following bigs and amazing releases, they delivered a light-hearted cut of bouncy techno remix that creates an infectious and delicious groove which is guaranteed to brighten the mood, starts off with lots of bleeps and steadily builds into "redlights" melody. Piecing together fragile beats and placing percussion with a deft expertise and a great separation between the elements ensures a 100% "Piemont style"! If you have been a fan of any Piemont's recent remixes and popular tracks you will love this...

It might well look as a first anniversary, a year after the successful release of the first Techno compilation of Microscapes Label "12 tracks - 7 artists - One music", an amazing alchemy between talented and promising worldwide artists resulting in a fresh mind-blowing combination of originality, inventiveness and diversity. All of those twelve tracks have been playlisted and supported by a whole bunch of deejays throughout the world.

This new release is a lot more than a mere trendy nth remix, or the usual duo-reinterpreting-another-duo story. Buena Onda Records has deliberately focused on a sound that makes Berlin one of the cardinal points of techno, by choosing to have Freedarich & Stiggsen's "Redlights" track remixed by the most prominent German duos, whose reputation has grown bigger and bigger out of their boundaries. Their tremendous success and echo both in the press and with renowned deejays speaks for itself. At last the public is given an alternative to the somehow freezing breath of minimal techno.

But do we really need to present them again?

Autotune (Adel & Jan-Eric), Mymy (Lee & Nick), Piemont (Phunklarique & Dejonka) offer their own proper vision of today's techno in this "Redlights" opus, thereby proving that there may be emotion, warmness and cheerful colors in techno.

The original and these three remixes just perfectly fit into each other. More than a redundant outmoded sequence, one gets filled with this particular atmosphere that runs through your brain and veins as a nectar in a 30 minute - trip far from the world of darkness and the obscure side ...just a magic world on your doorstep.
