DEMO POLICY

So you feel you have music that may fit into the Buena Onda catalogue ? Well, fine, send it our way ! We already have a roster of artists that fill our release schedules, but hey… some of them first contacted us this way, so, why not ? Just make sure of a few things : prefer digital files over sending CDs by mail PLEASE DO NOT SEND FILES DIRECTLY, you’ll just jam our server and make us mad, instead send links to your files, we’ll do the downloading ourselves as soon as we can, prefer hi-quality mp3 files over crappy 128k mis-encoded stuff, make sure you edit id3 info tags on your files so that we know who’s who when we drop them on a crowded hard disk, and name them like “artistname-tracktitle.mp3″. Simple and efficient… Add your email adress in the info tags of files, that will save us time looking back to connect a tune to an adress, as we will try to answer everyone that sends stuff, and do that as fast as possible (give us a moment, though, we have loads of stuff to checkout). Also, please try and figure out the type of stuff we release/support before you bother sending us something totally unrelated… So if you haven’t yet left the building before finishing this text, and you do have some clean stuff you think we might be jealous of, then, okay, drop a message to demos{at}buenaondarecords.com and be patient. We’ll do our best to get back to you.
